Siri can now read WhatsApp messages after updating

A few months ago Apple opened Siri to application developers, and with the usual speed (wink, wink) the most used messaging application in the world has been updated so that Siri can read our messages without having to unlock our device, not even touch it. We can now listen to our received messages thanks to this new function when we go in the car using only the voice instructions. In addition to this novelty, aesthetic changes to the contact and group information are included in the calls tab and the Persian translation.

Reading our messages, or rather, having Siri read us our messages received on WhatsApp, is a very simple procedure. We just have to invoke Siri, which we can do without touching our iPhone saying aloud "Hey Siri" and when it asks us what we want, we just have to ask it to read the WhatsApp messages. Apple's virtual assistant will read the messages that we have unread (only those, not those that have already been read) and once the reading is finished, it will ask us if we want to answer, being able to send the answer also by means of the voice dictation of Siri. A very practical way to be able to read messages and send our answers while we drive without having to distract ourselves from driving for a second, since there will not be even to touch the mobile.

In addition to this improvement practice, we will also be able to notice obvious cosmetic changes to contact and group info tabs. Improvements in the calls tab, the impossibility of making calls to oneself, a new verification screen in two steps, improvements in the download of multimedia content, and a long list of small improvements that are always welcome in an application that we use so much . The update is now available in the App Store and you can download it to your device.
