In September 2014, Apple presented its smart watch model for the first time and it was the beginning of the exciting life of the Apple Watch. Since then there have been nine generations of the standard model, two SE generation models and two Ultra generation models, Apple's latest genius dedicated to the most athletic. According to the latest rumors, Apple could launch an Apple Watch Ultra 3 in September 2024. However, the illusions that this includes great new features at the hardware level fade as the weeks go by.
Little news and a lot of uncertainty with the Apple Watch Ultra 3
The information that was being published in recent months assured that the probability of Apple launching a new generation of the Apple Watch Ultra was small. In fact, supply chains were rejecting any launch of this model in 2024. However, A new report published by Ming Chi-Kuo updates its data and changes the future of the Ultra generation.
According to information from Kuo (via MacRumors), Apple would be preparing a launch of the Apple Watch Ultra 3, which would be the third generation of the Ultra model that arrived three years ago in September. However, the second generation continued to be a trail of the first generation, without many new features and few advances at the hardware and software level. It also doesn't seem like this Apple Watch Ultra 3 includes new features or anything that surprises the user.
In fact, Kuo assures in his report that «there will be almost no updates» hardware compared to the Ultra 2. This launch would be scheduled for September, perhaps with the arrival of the tenth generation of the Apple Watch that many have rumored would be called Apple Watch. Kuo also points out that the Apple Watch Series 9 is likely to introduce new features in sensors such as blood pressure detection or sleep apnea detection, and it is logical to think that they will also reach the Ultra 3, if Apple finally decides to launch it to the public.
