What the tweak does is precisely enable the front camera as a recognition sensor to allow or not the unlocking of the terminal. Something similar to what allows us to make the fingerprint sensor of the iPhone 5s with our finger, but in this case what will allow access to the phone is precisely our face. Actually, for now Appellancy is a tweak that is under development with what its operation is not entirely correct and presents some bugs and failures. In case the jailbroken terminal detects that it is impossible to unlock the phone because precisely the recognition system does not recognize the face in front of it (it may be because it is not us, but also because something is failing), it sends us directly to the standard unlock settings of our terminal. Thus, if we have activated access through Touch ID, when it fails, the fingerprint reader will appear after a notice of inability to access through the tweak. If we have configured the pin, then the screen will take us to this option.
