Since the Apple Watch hit the market in 2015, the straps for this device have become a important source of income, not only for Apple, but also for third-party companies, since as it is not an electronic product, it does not require an Apple certification, although on many occasions we find straps that are worthless, both due to their low quality and for its attachment system to the Apple Watch.
Hours before the closing of the Apple Store yesterday, due to the presentation that would come later and where the new MacBook range with ARM processors called M1 was presented, the Cupertino-based company took advantage of the renewal to add new colors to the range of sports straps and Solo Loop for the Apple Watch.
The new colors of sport straps and Solo Loop that we can find for the Apple Watch in the Apple Store are:
- Nordic blue
- Plum
- Kumquat orange
The sports straps are made of special high performance flueroelastomer with a clip closure (the same material as always), while the Solo Loop is made of liquid silicone, they are elastic and do not contain buckles or clasps. The price of these new colors is 49 euros, the same as the rest of the straps that were already available in the official Apple store.
With these new colors, the number of options when buying a sports strap and Solo Loop is 12 and among which we find:
- Nordic blue
- Plum
- Kumquat orange
- Ginger
- Cyprus Green
- Deep navy blue
- Pink grapefruit
- (PRODUCT) RED
- Sand pink
- Blanca
- Black
- Pride Edition (this strap is not available in the Solo Loop version)
Apple usually updates the colors of their straps several times a year, this being probably the last update they will receive until spring arrives and renew / expand your catalog.
