iPadOS

iPadOS is an operating system closed source developed by Apple exclusively for iPad. Announced at the 2019 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, iPadOS is a modified version of iOS, with additional features and optimizations specific to iPad.

Although it shares a common base with iOS, iPadOS has been adapted to make the most of the larger screen space, the Apple Pencil and the multitasking capabilities of the iPad.

• Improved Multitasking- iPadOS allows running multiple apps in split screen, the ability to drag and drop content between apps, and Slide Over view for quick access to secondary apps.

• File Browsing: The new file explorer in iPadOS makes it easier to manage documents and navigate through folders. You can connect USB drives and access files in cloud services directly from the Files app.
• Writing Mode in Safari: Safari on iPadOS displays websites in its desktop version, improving the browsing experience and allowing the use of more advanced web applications.
• Customizable Widgets: Widgets on the home screen offer real-time information and can be customized to your needs. From weather forecasts to reminders, widgets keep you informed without opening apps.
• Notes App Improvements: The Notes app now supports folders, improved search, document scanning, and the ability to draw and write freehand.
