Fitbit just introduced the Charge 3 bracelet, one of the direct competitors of the Apple Watch, of which we expect a renewal in the coming weeks.
Charge 3 boasts of being the most advanced activity tracker today and it has no shortage of reasons. Still, Fitbit emphasizes the fact that it is not a watch, but an activity tracker that also works as SmartWatch.
The Charge 3 comes with a similar design to the Charge 2, a taller than wide OLED black and white touchscreen. This new model also has more designs, more straps and special editions (Graphite aluminum with a white sports strap in the purest style of the Nike strap for Apple Watch and Rose Gold with the lavender fabric strap) that would be the model to choose if we want to have Fitbit Pay (currently available in Spain with boon., Carrefour, Santander and Openbank).
The Fitbit Charge 3 is a data monitoring machine. It constantly monitors heart rate, exercise (automatically detects exercise sessions), sleep, calories and now includes monitoring of menstrual cycles.
It is water resistant up to 50 meters, it is light and gives us an autonomy of up to 7 days. A very good plus points for Fitbit.
Furthermore, the Charge 3 works as a SmartWatch and it will allow us to receive notifications and respond to them, see the calendar, time and more information when we carry it with our mobile device.
It is compatible with iOS, macOS, Android and Windows (coming soon) and it is a device that requires the Fitbit app, since from it we will configure and see all the data of our Charge 3. In addition, our mobile will provide the Internet connection and GPS data to the Charge 3.
I personally like the Fitbit bet. You can reserve it now for € 149,95 or for € 169,95 if you want one of the special editions and Fitbit will ship it to you in November.
