A week ago Apple released the first beta of iOS 13.7. Just yesterday it was officially launched and is now available to all users officially. This update came as a result of the slow participation of the different countries of the world to get involved in creating an app to integrate the API Notification by Exposure of Google and Apple against COVID-19. Because of this, the two tech giants got down to business and created a system called Notification by Express Exposure, a basic version to track contacts without the need for an application in those countries where they do not yet have an app.

iOS 13.7 allows you to activate the COVID-19 exposure notification system without having to download any app. System availability depends on whether the public health authority in your region supports this service. This version also includes other bug fixes for the iPhone.
This new update only includes an important system baptized as Notification for Express Exposure. This system is aimed at those countries that have not yet developed an application with which to integrate the API mentioned above. With this new system, we will allow users to track their contacts and report their positives. without having an app own as in Spain we have Radar COVID.
In the API Settings Notification by Exposure we will see this new function that we can activate after checking that our country is compatible with it. If our country has its own application, we will be redirected to the App Store to download it. Otherwise, you can start using this new system immediately.
iOS 13.7 also includes a redesign of the section dedicated to Exposure Notification in the Settings of our iPhone. Once inside, the first thing we can do is check the exposures from the app that we have installed. Next, we will see if we have or not activated the exposure record and in which region we are located. We can then share a positive COVID-19 diagnosis that automatically redirects us to the app we have installed.
Finally, we can determine if we want to receive a monthly notification with a summary of our exhibitions and if we want to receive notifications of availability of which region we are in to vary the exhibition system depending on the country, state or region that we are in. You can now update to iOS 13.7 from the Settings of your device.
