The iPhone 17 Pro will have three cameras of 48Mpx each

MacRumorsThe iPhone 17 Pro that will be launched in 2 will have a change in design, materials and above all, cameras, with all its 48Mpx sensors, including the telephoto which is currently 12Mpx.

This year, there are external changes for the new iPhone 17, at least the Pro models. Apple will use a new manufacturing process with which the transition between materials will be "smoother", which will mean that the current joint between the glass and the metal, from the frame to the back of the iPhone, will be smoother, without right angles. There is also still talk of switching from titanium to aluminium., a return to a material that Apple abandoned years ago first for steel, and then for titanium. The reason for this change? Perhaps because of this new manufacturing process, or simply because of the availability of materials.

The design changes will also affect the back of the phone, with the top part made of metal and the bottom 3/4 made of glass, mandatory for wireless charging. On the top part of the metal we would find a horizontal camera module, at least in the Pro models, with the three camera lenses perfectly aligned and occupying the entire module. A new arrangement of cameras to which we will have to add an improvement that will mainly affect the telephoto lens, which It currently has a 12Mpx sensor and will now have 48Mpx., like the other two lenses. This will significantly improve photos taken with zoom. This change could only come to the "Pro Max" model, leaving the "Pro" model with the same 12Mpx that we have now, although this last point does not seem to be clear. The front camera will also improve, with a 24Mpx sensor, up from the 12Mpx of the current models. We already know that the Max are not everything in photography, but they are an important part of the overall quality of the photos.
