Apple has concluded the Keynote in October and not precisely with minor presentations, the Cupertino company has launched a battle of products, many of them highly anticipated, among which is the well-known renewal of the range iPad Pro, an important leap that says goodbye to the Home button and integrates Face ID technology.
It is not the only change that these new devices have received from Apple, the iPad Pro now also includes new screen sizes as well as connectivity via USB-C. Discover with us all the news about the iPad Pro, as well as its features and prices.
We are then going to take a brief tour of all those characteristics that are worth referring to in this new Apple tablet to which the Cupertino company has decided to renew more than just the hardware. Let's go there. The first thing we are going to highlight is the fact that we are facing a first 11-inch model that comes to replace the previous 10,5-inch model, however, despite the new design, the iPad Pro model is still maintained 12,9, since more size would seem almost an excess. The new design has been limited to leaving the curves only for the fronts and the screen, while the sides and edges become completely flat, a major turn of the screw. We leave just below these lines the weight and dimensions of the new devices:

- iPad Pro 11 "
- Weight: 468 grams
- Measurements: 24,76 x 17,85 x 0,59 cm
- iPad Pro 12,9 "
- Weight: 631 grams
- Measurements: 28,06 x 21,49 x 0,59cm
It inevitably reminds us of this new design that the iPhone had until the arrival of the iPhone 6, something that users have been demanding for a long time and to which the Cupertino company has ended up responding, not everything was going to stay on a new screen without bezels, for this a much greater angle of curvature was required on the sides. Unfortunately the range loses colors, the iPad Pro will only be offered in space gray and silver from now on, both with the front completely black.
Better use of screen and four speakers
Apple has decided to mount the same Liquid Retina panels on the iPad Pro Of those that now have, for example, the iPhone XR, this means that we definitely do not go to OLED technology in the iPad, something that would significantly increase its costs and bring a tail with the Apple Pencil, but that does not mean that we renounce good resolutions and the best LCD panel available on the market. Consuming video will be a pleasure in this iPad Pro, but it is not going to be less for the audio, the iPad Pro in both versions has four speakers (two at the bottom and two at the top) with which deliver spectacular, powerful and clear stereo sound.

- iPad Pro 11 "
- Resolution: 2388 x 1688 (264 PPI)
- True tone display
- 1,8% reflectivity
- 600 nits of brightness
- iPad Pro 12,9 "
- Resolution: 2732 x 2048 (264 PPI)

That is how the Cupertino firm wants to continue offering the best of the best on its tablet, the best-selling on the market, despite the fact that this is precisely the expensive version. We must not forget that this iPad Pro has a side microphone and three microphones on the top. For its part, the second generation Apple Pencil It has a flat design in certain areas that magnetizes it to attach it to the side of the iPad, as well as being sensitive to the touch.
Face ID and USB-C to satisfy the most demanding public
An increase in the screen ratio required saying goodbye, among other things, to the Home button and therefore to the Touch ID and this has been the case, the Cupertino company continues with its stream of launches so it has decided to completely banish the Touch ID that remains in the MacBook range and goes on to integrate the facial scanner sensor in the iPad Pro. It is a movement that we all expected from the North American firm and which had been talked about many days ago, and it has been. It seems that it is definitely time to say goodbye to the identifying mark that the Home button represented for devices with the bitten apple. The integrated Face ID is updated to the latest generation and will allow you to carry out the same tasks as on any iPhone X device onwards.

For its part, USB-C is here to stay (and to do business). Users complained bitterly that a product whose only physical connection was owned by Apple could not be called "Pro", and with few adapters besides. Now the Lightning is succeeded by the versatile USB-C, for which the Cupertino firm has already planned a good battle of official adapters for "reasonable prices." We are not yet clear about the possibility of compatibility that iOS 12 will offer with this type of connection, but we hope that at least at the beginning it will be quite limited within the company's standards.
A12X processor and a single camera
The most powerful processor manufactured for an iOS device to date comes to the iPad Pro in this way, which will make this iPad Pro have nothing to envy the majority of laptops on the market, positioning itself as the most powerful "mobile device" without place to doubt. For this, it uses the A12X Bionic processor with 64-bit architecture and Neural Engine, which also has the M12 co-processor integrated into it.. Without a doubt, Apple has put "all the meat on the grill" at the power level in the iPad Pro, although we do not have official RAM data.

For its part, the 12 MP camera with focal aperture f / 1,8 for the rear remains, which allows us to take advantage of Flash True Tone. We can record with it up to 4K resolutions at 60 FPS and 1080p slow motion at 120 FPS. Another highlight is that thanks to the huge number of microphones, we will have audio capture in stereo. For its part, we maintain the 7 MP front camera with all the technology that the True Depth cameras that make up the Face ID.
