From iFixit presented a couple of days ago the images of the iPad disassembly process, and thanks to this process we have been able to discover how the new Apple gadget contains a Broadcom BCM4329 chip. Apparently, this chip -also included in the latest iPhone and iPod Touch- would allow both listening to FM radio and performing broadcasting FM.
We expect Apple to post or comment on this in no time. If not, we would be facing yet another untapped feature of your devices, as has already happened with Bluetooth on the iPhone / iPod Touch.
Will Apple be waiting to release a radio app in the new firmware version?
