We continue with the ravages of the last Apple Keynote, the inaugural presentation of WWDC 2023, a Keynote in which the guys from Cupertino showed us all the news of all the operating systems that Apple will launch in the last quarter of 2023. And yes, we did not forget the Vision Pro, those augmented reality glasses that seem to have come out of an episode of Black Mirror. Well, today we bring you one of those news that they didn't comment on much but that can be interesting. tvOS 17 will allow us to see each other at the karaoke function… Keep reading that we tell you all its details.
To put you in context a bit, tvOS 17 arrives improving what we had and with the odd new interesting function. For example, now we can use the camera of our iPhone on Apple TV. With this we will be able to participate in video calls directly from our Apple TV, and with the iPhone camera our listeners will also be able to see us. And it is precisely this continuity of the camera that will have a leading role in the new Apple Music Song, A new Apple Music feature that will turn the app into a karaoke.
According to Cupertino, with this new function the experience will be even more investing since we can see ourselves sing on the screen while we see the lyrics of our favorite songs. And yes, we can apply filters to the video of our camera and even to the letters that are displayed on the screen. Obviously we will have to have an active Apple Music subscription to enjoy this new function and we will have to wait for the launch of tvOS 17, which is scheduled for the last quarter of the year. Important to tell you that this function only will be available on second-generation Apple TV 4K (released in 2021), or on newer devices.
Karaoke without a microphone is not karaoke. Apple should stop using the iPhone as a microphone.
