Tutorial: load roms in iMAME emulator without jailbreak

Many of you will remember the tutorial to enjoy the iMAME4All emulator that allows us to link a Wii remote to the iPhone or iPad. The downside of this emulator is that to install it we necessarily need Jailbreak.

Yesterday Apple made an oversight and a MAME emulator slipped into the App Store that I recommended that you download as soon as possible since it won't last long online. This emulator comes with 9 roms as standard but it is very easy to put more into it.

Requirements:

• iExplorer for Mac
• iExplorer for Windows

Steps to follow:

1. Install the version of iExplorer that corresponds to your operating system.
2. Open iExplorer and connect your iPhone.



3. Go to the route:

iMAME / Documents



4. That's where you have to insert the ROMS in ZIP format.
5. Once the transfer has finished. Close iMAME on your iPhone if it is in the background and open it again to show the ROMS you have installed.

• Some games may require the NeoGeo BIOS which includes the Neo-Geo.rom, Ng-Sfix.rom and Ng-Sm1.rom files. You can download these files in this link. Once downloaded, insert those files into the ZIP of the ROM.
