Currently the telephony market is dominated by iOS and Android. The different attempts of Microsoft to be able to reach the market to get a part of the cake have not had the success that the company wanted, due to the neglect of the company itself, mainly when it comes to promoting both the terminals and the platform itself. Each operating system offers us some characteristics or functions that we would like to be available when we switch platforms. Today we show you one of them, the Google search bar that is available in most Android terminals.
If you have used an Android terminal in recent years, it is more than likely that you have suffered or enjoyed, depending on how you look at it, the search bar that Google implements in all terminals managed by Android. This search bar allows us to carry out searches, worth the redundancy, quickly in Google without having to open the browser at any time.
Pixzel is a tweak that adds the Google search bar to the home screen of our iPhone. This tweak offers us two different functions depending on whether we click on it once or twice. If we press once, the Safari browser will automatically open, showing us the Google home page to perform a search. We can implement this function natively without resorting to jailbreak by creating a Safari shortcut on the home screen.
But if we click twice on the four circles that represent the tweak a search box will open, box where we can enter the search terms, offering us the results again in Safari. This second function offers us much more versatility when it comes to quickly searching on Google.
