The SwitcherCC tweak merges the Control Center with the application switcher

The jailbreak has been in the doldrums for a couple of years. While it is true that hackers continue to work on a jailbreak for each new version of iOS that Apple launches on the market, the intensity or desire they put on it has been decreasing over time and it is becoming more and more difficult to enjoy the jailbreak.

The problem for the jailbreak community is that the main hackers who have always dedicated themselves to these tasks have been hired by both Apple and other software developers. What's more the rewards that Apple offers for discovering bugs are more and more succulent and hackers would rather earn money than notoriety in the community

Even so, there are still new tweaks coming to the alternative Cydia application store, or updates to the existing ones, showing that the jailbreak in part is still very much alive, at least in this sense. Today we talk about SwitcherCC a new tweak for jailbreak users, inspired by the mythical Auxo, since its developer seems to have abandoned the development of that fantastic tweak.

Once we have installed the Tweak SwitcherCC we must press twice on the home button or swipe from the bottom of the screen to show a new grouped interface that will show us the Control Center and the applications that are open at that moment.

The new Control Center is divided into three pages, the first of all shows us the switches to enable the flashlight, the Wi-Fi connection, the bluetooth, the Do not disturb mode or the rotation lock, along with the airplane mode, the stopwatch, the camera, the clock and the control over the brightness level.

On the second page we find the AirDrop, AirPlay and NighShift options in the form of shortcuts. Finally, on the third page we find the music player, and the playback controls. Within the customization options, SwitcherCC allows us to enable a Dark mode, ideal for when we use our device practically in the dark.
