We are closely following all the tests that are being made of the latest releases of the boys of the block. Testing of new devices and testing of the latest Apple software developments. And it is that not everything was going to be the new iPhone, you can also renew your devices updating them to the latest version of iOS and gaining new features.
iOS 11 has brought many new features, especially at the iPad level, a new operating system for Apple mobile devices that goes further by giving us new functions. We had nine beta versions during the summer to be able to test all the new functions and for Apple to collect data about the operation of its new iOS 11, obviously nothing is perfect and there are many users who are reporting the odd problem with the operation of this new iOS 11. After the jump we give you all the details of the problems that are being reported and how to repair them.
Restore settings to fix iOS 11 problems
Many users are reporting through various network channels problems opening applications, The problem is that it not only happens with third-party applications, it also happens with Apple's own (those that come native with iOS). Slowness, application crashes ... endless errors that many are finding.
Obviously this is not something that happens to all users, but it is spreading throughout the networks. I have been able to verify some of these problems, and one of the possible solutions is restore the settings of your iPhone or iPad. Restoring the device settings we corrected many of the problems that our device dragged after updating from one iOS to another. For this we have to go to the Settings app, then we enter General -> Reset -> Reset Settings. In this way we will lose all the settings (something that should correct most of the errors) of our iPhone or iPad, but not the stored data.
Installing from scratch is always the best
However Restoring Settings is not the best solution… And it is something that whenever a new version of iOS has been launched, we have commented on it: in the face of a major operating system update, it is best to install from scratch. Yes, you will lose everything you have stored on your iPhone, but this will not be a big problem if you have much of your information in iCloud (We are not talking about backup copies but synchronized information), and obviously you will have to spend some time to download all the applications you have again.
